As the early church grew bigger it also grew smaller at the same time. We’re told those first believers were not only devoted to God’s word as the apostles taught, but also to each other; meeting, eating, praying and speaking God’s word together in homes. They gathered for big church on the Lord’s Day and at the same time formed small Gospel Communities. We encourage everyone at Streatham Central Church to join one of our Gospel Communities, which meet on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday to eat, pray, and study the bible together.
